<p>To begin, I&#8217;m going to tell you about an article that recently grabbed my attention. Some actor was asked how he got into shape for his new role. &#8220;I ate less and exercised more &#8211; it&#8217;s not rocket science,&#8221; was the actor&#8217;s response.</p>
<p>With an answer like that, it makes you feel that weight loss isn&#8217;t that hard, doesn&#8217;t it? Is all that scientific mumbo-jumbo about metabolism, calories, oxygen, and so on really important to know? Regardless of the different types of diets, reduced calories consumption reigns as the top choice.</p>
<p>Fist things first. Don&#8217;t drink any liquids that aren&#8217;t called milk or water. Pretty much all other liquids with either increase your calorie intake or put yucky chemicals into your body.</p>
<p>The next thing to think about is to make sure that your meals are small, and you eat about five times a day. This helps to keep your body in fat burning mode. If you start each meal with a piece of fruit or some vegetables, you&#8217;ll fill up faster.</p>
<p>So then, what do your meals really look like? Well, only you can decide what you&#8217;re going to eat. Just follow these guidelines. But first, understand that you need to remember to eat less than normal.</p>
<p>Anything that contains partially hydrogenated oil (trans fats) or high fructose corn syrup is strictly off limits. Just consider those things poison for your body. Also, stay away from fried foods, and restaurants. One rule that (to me) is unbreakable is to always eat breakfast, and always eat protein with each meal.</p>
<p>At last, now you get to find out about exercising. The biggest obstacle people face when starting an exercise program is not knowing what to do. Well guess what, it doesn&#8217;t matter, because as long as you&#8217;re doing something you&#8217;re getting the benefits. The important thing it that you&#8217;re doing something physical that gets your heart beating and body sweating. Don&#8217;t forget to talk to your doctor before starting a new exercise program, just to be sure you&#8217;re up to it.</p>

<p>And it wasn&#8217;t my fault because there is simply too much contradictory and confusing information out there. In fact, a lot of the recommended flabby arm exercises are downright dangerous.</p>
<p>With all the confusion floating around, how are you supposed to know which exercises will give you the fastest results? Unfortunately, you can&#8217;t unless you have a reliable source of information. And these days, reliability is hard to come bye.</p>
<p>Luckily for you, I&#8217;ve decided to tackle this monster head on, no holds barred. I have made the commitment to review as many arm exercises for women as I can, as often as I can. Without further ado, here is today&#8217;s analysis of high pulley curls for the biceps:</p>
<p>1. Summary. This exercise is very effective for working the top-most portion of your biceps. Fitness buffs do this exercise so that their biceps get high &#8220;peaks.&#8221;</p>
<p>2. Technique overview. Stand straight up between two high pulleys. Grab both handles with an underhand grip. Breathe out and bring the handles towards your ears. Breathe in and return them to the starting position.</p>
<p>3. General mistakes. Preventing the arms from fully extending and contracting in order to use more weight. Using momentum to bring the handles in which reduces the effectiveness of the exercise. And letting the head tilt downward which places stress on the spine.</p>
<p>4. To do or not to do. This exercise is a somewhat specialized exercise for making your biceps peak. However, there are more effective exercises out there. The main issue with this exercise is that it does not work a large amount of muscle mass in your arms.</p>

<p>5. Try different exercises. The last exercise you can switch up by lifting the dumbbells and then going into a push up. This is the type of training used in the military and is quite effective. Push ups really are a powerhouse move as they provide great resistance and really build up muscle while also boosting your metabolism. You can start on your knees if full push ups are too challenging at first.</p>
<p>6. Other upper body options are to simply use the dumbbells for different moves. You can work on your shoulders, biceps, forearms and deltoids. Using weight really increases your metabolism verses other equipment options.</p>
<p>7. To wrap it up make sure that you change all areas of your life. Bodybuilding programs are a waste if you do not also focus on eating. You can make simple changes like cutting down on the amount of fat you consume. Try eating meals high in muscle building protein and that have a lot of nutrients.</p>
