Question by Sandy: Is there a good health insurance for college students?
I am a sophomore in college and have not had health or dental insurance since I was a little girl. I can’t be on my mom’s insurance cause the price will sky rocket. I have a part time job so I don’t get health benefits at work. Is there some type of health insurance that has good coverage but also doesn’t cost too much since I don’t make too much?

I’ve never had any sort of insurance before either and I’m not sure how the insurance would work where you live but I’ll use my own as an example. I have all-type insurance (same amount for loss of life, limbs, eyes etc) of a £7,500 ($ 11,868) payout to give you an idea.

Question by Buddha: What is a good fitness plan to build muscle?
I’m 19 years old, 5’10 and weigh 220lbs. I’m trying to find a girlfriend but it’s like I’m invisible. So I want to lose weight and gain muscle to look good. However I don’t know anything about fitness plans or anything so can someone help me know what kinds of foods to eat and some fitness plan ideas? Also give me some idea of how much weight I can lose within a week. Thanks guys.

** Eat six mini meals a day. Exercise and before every meal, drink two tall glasses of water, (about 16 oz.) this will fill you up and you will automatically eat less. This really works, so be patient. Good Luck to you

I know my community does a “walk to school day” that involves not just students but parents, teachers, and even some city officials that participate..Not only would the hours of walking count but so would the time planning, networking, advertising, media promotions, and meeting of all participators also. This way they get everyone to exercise and at the same time promotes healthy lifestyle choices. At the end of the walk everyone enjoys a healthy breakfast.

I had the same issue!
Here’s what I recommend for losing weight (in a healthy way!)

Exercise
-I recently started doing the Biggest Loser Weight Loss Yoga video. I’ve been doing it the past two weeks, and have already noticed a major benefit. It’s really tough, but I highly recommend it (it’s cheap too-only cost me ten bucks!) I would recommend getting a yoga mat so you don’t slip all over the place. This will help tone your muscles (NOT build bulk-yoga is known for creating lean muscle).
-The yoga should be enough for toning. To burn extra calories, try to add some cardio (walking, running, swimming).

Also, if you want a little more advice to help get quicker results, here are some dieting tips.
Here’s what I recommend for losing weight (in a healthy way!)

Eating Tips
-Eat 5-6 small meals
-Eat every 3-4 hours
-Don’t eat after 7 p.m.
-Eat lean meats (turkey, chicken, tuna, fish))
-Only eat whole grains (and although a label may say whole grains, make sure it says 100%. If it doesn’t it could be processed like white bread.) Your diet doesn’t need to be low carb. As long as it’s whole grains and you eat reasonable portions they’re okay to have!
-Eat lots of vegetables
-Eat fruit (try to eat more veggies – less sugar)
-Low fat
-For the most part drink water. Milk and juices are also okay to drink.

You probably want to start by subscribing to one of the magazines aimed at health and fitness for men. SUbscribing means you get a monthly push, mental jolt call it whatever you want. The most popular in terms of sales is Men’s Health, it’s quite light hearted, almost a lads mag with muscles and dietary advice, you get plenty of small tips and it’s easy to read. Second place goes to Men’s Fitness, it’s not so jaunty as MH but it does go into more detail, but it is a harder read.

Whenever it comes to the word ‘barb’, what comes in my mind with first impression is the line that defines border of two nations. Normally barb is referred for the ‘spikes’ but when it comes to household uses, ‘barb’ becomes an important word, as barb fitting is considered very important in fittings of sewage system.

Also known as Barbed fitting, this is done  to connect two pipes together. Normally, two types of barbed fitting is done, which are respectively,  Dubl fitting and Hose fitting. Both these fitting are diffrent from each other in nature. In this article, we have tried to figure the technical differences between the two. Read on to know, which fitting is going to suit your requirement the best.

What is Dubl Barb Fitting?
Dubl fitting is considered compact than other type of fitting. It is also taken as a reusable fitting method which makes it economical to use.  You can use it with polythene tubing as well.  The major advantage of going for dubl fitting. It is also considered an smoother fitting version.

– Dubl fitting is a straight fitting that allows the hose to relax behind the barb using the clamp, which works like a drawstring. It helps the hose diameter in becoming smaller than the flare of barb.

How to assemble Dubl Fitting?
To assemble a dubl Barb Fittings, you simply need to push the tube over two barbs. But before you do it, make sure tube is squarely cut.

What is Hose fitting?
A. Hose barb fitting is also known as brass fitting, as all the materials  used in this fitting are made of brass. It is attached using straight and metric threads. Normally, beaded and standard barbs are used. Hose clamps keep brass barbs connected. However, hose fitting is bit costlier than normal dubl fitting but its re-usability makes it a good as well as economical choice.

– Hose fitting are considered of great choice if you require extended elbows and tees to attached with the tube.

– It is normally assembled using clamps. Hose needs to be cut neatly and then lubricated. Now slide the clamp on the hose. Push the hose to the fitting until it stops hexing.

For a long lasting and successful sewage system, it becomes very important to pay attention on sewage system fitting. Sewage system with good barb fitting would not require a second look for years.

I was looking at P90X but idk what i should get, can anyone recommend me any good home fitness equipment?

Here is a video of exercises — no equipment needed. You can do 3 or all of the exercises; 15 to 20 minutes session 2 or 3 days a week.

For abs, these 2 exercises — bicycle crunch and leg-lift:

Start slow ‘cuz these are not as easy as they look. For first 2 weeks , do as much as you can for 30 or 40 seconds; then rest 1 minute. Do another 30 seconds; rest 1-minute. Do another 30-seconds.

For 3rd week and forward, increase the exercise time (but keep the 1-minute rest).
